MENTAL HEALTH ‘KNOW HOW’ for aged care

This online course is designed for staff and managers working in the community and residential aged care space. It aims to give you a lot of very practical skills in a short space of time! Recognise common mental health conditions in older adults, learn about trauma and trauma informed practice, crisis management including psychological first aid and suicide prevention as well as how to talk to older adults in distress.

It was a great day of Mental Health Know How training for Managers and Staff. Expertly researched and facilitated by Michaela.

Michaela created an interactive learning experience, a safe space to share lived experiences and also made space for Fun! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated and especially to Michaela for a very valuable program with learnings that will inform, guide and shape our work with clients, teams and ourselves into the future.
Highly recommended. 👏
